The first day Diana, Urska and Julia wanted to check out Kaunertal Glacier, but due to heavy snow stroms they got stuck on the road. They even had to put on chains.

On the next day the sun was shining and 30cm of fresh snow. Could´t be better! I also got a day off from work and joined the girls with the photographer Lele. Since the wind was blowing strongly we deciced to stay next to the parking lot and hike into a nice terrain.

It´s all kinda flat, but we actually found a spot with a good landing to build a powder kicker.  Hmm! Normally our kickers worked out quite well, but this time something went wrong.  It was throwing us somewhere!

Anyways after a good slam session, we were scounting around again.

… and found some drops, cliffs & lines. After a long day, we were happy when we arrived back home, got food and some sleep after watching the soccer game.

So here we go – another season was on! We were thinking about the trips and Helsinki were on “to do” list no matter what. Unfortunatelly Uršula thought that competitions are much more cooler than hitting rails with us and she had to skip. All the other girls we asked had some “important” things to do. So it looked like its gonna be only Ana, our best filmer Rene (Renata) and me. But we definitely needed a photographer and maybe some other girls. Julia gave us contact for Patrick Steiner and other two “girls” that joined us were Vid and Scheps.

We had a proper plan what and when we would like to do so we wouldn’t loose a time. I mean we were on the mission and not on shopping trip, even though Renata did some serious shopping.

First rail we did was a long metal rail which we didn’t get to hit last year and I was so hyped about it. Marc Swoboda told us that it’s a mission rail and when I realized im not able to do even boardslide my excitement went bit down, but only until we all got our trick and went home. We definitely didn’t start with the easiest rail but you know, we can handle it

Wooden rail was ON the next day and its one of the rail you might come back few times. Either for a night shot or you just didn’t get it during the day after 50 tries like me. And like this I could go on and on about every spot. The only thing I´m gonna tell you is that we hit another down rail, double kink, Ana’s most favourite rail to bank, one more down rail and elbow rail. Im pretty sure you will see everything in our podcast which should be out pretty soon and most definitely our movie which we are filming for on many different locations and no doubt it will be more than EPIC.

next day: 300 km/h storm (the biggest since 30 years) – unfortunately all pow was blown away afterwards

back to snow for the next days. but to be honest: horseriding killed us! so exhausting! and we were riding for hours – ana even did some rodeo riding!
